Today, am posting a demo version of a Hotel Management System. This software is a demo version of a complete Hotel Management System developed by Kinsware Technologies.
The Software is a windows desktop program developed with .Net Framework 3.5 and SQL Server Express 2005.

System Requirement

SQL Server Express ( This and .Net Framework 3.5 will be installed upon running of the installer file, provided it is not installed already).
.Net Framework 3.5
Windows Operating System (This system was tested using windows 7 please share your experience on other version of Windows at the comment section. ).

How to Install

Download and run the Hotel Management System installer file. If you do not have SQL SERVER Express 2005 installed already, the installer file should help you download and install it (Note that you need an active internet connection for this to be successful).
Once everything is ok (i.e. if everything is installed) including the Hotel Management System, Browse to your C:\ProgramData\Kinsware Technologies\Hotel Management System and ensure the file named HotelReserveDB.mdf and HotelReserveDB.ldf are both there.
To confirm your SQL Server data directory
Open cmd. From the Start menu, click All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt.
Open a connection to a local SQL Server Express instance by typing or copying the following command into the command line:

Resistance Calculator For Electronics Engineers

Introduction

This  is a  Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application providing functionality of electronic resistance calculations. This software is specifically developed for electronics who are not familiar with electronics color code.

How it works

Application can be used to solve two problems
Counting resistor value based on resistor band colors
Counting closest value of resistor based on E-series standard resistance values
For counting resistor values based on band color, first, you have to choose how many bands resistor have and select the proper color coding using Combo Boxes.

For counting closest value of resistor based on E-series, user have to choose desired E-series and resistance value. After clicking "Calculate" button, closest value will be displayed with approximation error.

StoreSoul Multi-Warehouse Inventory Management System

StoreSoul is a Multi-Warehouse Inventory management system for managing large and small warehouses. It was developed by Kingsley  for a client using an open source project called "Simple Inventory".

How to Install:

Download the zip file from here
Extract the zipped file to your preferred location and run the "setup.exe" during the course of running the setup file, the .Net Framework and SQL Server Express will be downloaded provided they are not already installed on your machine. Note: You need internet connection for the download of the prerequisites to be successful.
If all goes well, run StoreSoul and a database settings dialog window will appear, set up your database and you are done. (This process only happens once or anytime you loose connection to the database)

SharpPos, A Free Point Of Sale System

Super markets, pharmaceutical shops, and the likes could grow rapidly these days thereby making the task of management a bit tedious, ranging from inventory management to performance reporting. And these tedious tasks sometimes seems to be what the business needs to grow. Because some want to keep track of all the transaction that happens in their businesses, they tend to use pen and paper which is a very slow and out-dated System.

This  is why I develop this simple POS system Called SharpPos with full technical support to help those who cannot purchase expensive software from big companies or hire a software developer to build one for them to use what technology has to offer to manage their businesses.
I would have released this software before now, but  I had challenges on how  to share it.  I wanted the software to be as easily downloaded as one would click a button, as such, I planned building my own online program store but the cost of  doing that is not something I can afford at this time, so I thought of a simple way and made research, upload.com was what I found  but you still have to host the file somewhere before it can be imported to upload.com.
